Digital Chocolate has announced to have acquired two new development studios in order to expand their mobile gaming production facilities.
In Bangladore, Digital Chocolate has acquired local developer Small Device Mobile Technologies. The development studio will be lead by Dikshant Dave and triple DC’s capacity in the region.
In Bacelona, Digital Chocolate acquired Micojocs Studio. This developer has muyltiplatform experience, meaning DC will enable itself to look beyond mobile. This development studio will be led by Gerard Fernandez (also in place before the acquisition).
More acquisitions are to be expected as Gary Schofield, president of networks at DC, explained that DC is committed to aggressively pursuit new markets.
