The developers that built the ChevronWP7 jailbreak tool have taken the tool offline. They are in talks with Microsoft how to enable homebrew apps under Windows Phone 7.
The move from Microsoft to start up the conversation is remarkable as Apple is in a constant battle to outsmart jailbreak developers. The reason why both companies don’t allow sideloading of apps is to battle piracy.
