We already wrote about the rumor earlier this week, but it turns out DeNa indeed bought ngmoco. Ngmoco will help DeNa get grip on the western mobile gaming market.
The new strategy of the two will halt the development of the Plus+ network and will integrate Plus+ supporting games in a new version of DeNa’s Mobage Town platform. The new platform will be called Open Mobage Smartphone SDK. It will also allow ngmoco to spend more effort on supporting platforms outside iOS, though only Android is mentioned so far.
