Mobile Gaming is yet another step closer to wide user adoption in the United States as Gametrailers.com (part of MTV Networks) launches a channel dedicated to mobile games called “Go Gaming”.

The Go Gaming channel will do its kick-off at mobile entertainment oriented MVNO Amp’d Mobile. When successful, the channel will be made available to at least all US carriers.

“This exciting launch allows us to reach gamers in a new way by bringing our original video game content directly to the user’s mobile device.” said Jon Slusser, CEO, Executive Producer, GameTrailers.  “We’re also thrilled to premier ‘Go Gaming,’ a program that focuses on the growing market of mobile games. Not only are we expanding our programming line-up, but we are presenting the show to the perfect audience through our new mobile video channel.”

The GameTrailers mobile video channel provides viewers with a unique combination of trailers, editorial reviews, special features, top ten lists and original shows such as GT’s critically-acclaimed debate series, “Bonus Round.” GT mobile video channel will also be the home for the new mobile series, “Go Gaming,” which features informative and entertaining fast-paced previews and reviews of the latest mobile games. In the future, when technology permits, viewers will be able to directly link to and purchase all game titles mentioned in the show directly from their mobile devices.
