CTIA: BlackBerry App World Launches

As rumored all over the net (and at MGB of course) last week, Research in Motion’s BlackBerry App World sales channel went live today for consumers in Canada , the US and the UK.

The App World client can be downloaded from blackberry.com for all devices supporting firmware 4.2 and above. Next to that, the devices also have to support touchscreens.

With the launch of this App Store, developers gain easy access to yet another popular demographic.
