Coolest Girl in School Raises Public Attention

November 27th, 2007 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Marketing Strategies | 2 Comments »

ChampagnefortheladiesBeing dubbed the GTA for girls, the Coolest Girl in School mobile game from developer Champagne for the Ladies and Kukan Studio is raising public awareness in Australia as it would have a negative impact on social life.

In the game, players have to reach the highest ranks in respect by lying, bitching and flirting. Next to that, reaching the top also means experimenting with fashion, drugs and sex, cut classes, manipulate teachers and spread nasty rumours.

Though the game has not been released yet, the beta test already raised a lot of attention. “The activities in the game have been shown through vast amounts of research to cause significant, long-term problems for young people.” said a spokeswoman for the Australian Family Association.

Nevertheless, we at the blog can’t wait to see the game finished and have a play with it.
