This morning we received a fresh rumor about the possible acquisition
of Israeli based content aggregator Rayfusion by Connect2Media.
As usual, we wanted to have some sort of proof. The proof of the possible acquisition came from the Linkedin profile of Volker Hirsch, another blogger from the mobile games industry. We quote from his profile;
“Volker was key to the team that raised $9m in funding from Acuity Capital. The company is currently undertaking an aggressive M&A programme, which so far included the acquisition of the businesses of Mforma Europe Ltd (which traded as Hands-On Mobile EMEA, SE Asia & LatAm), Connect 2 Play and Rayfusion.”
We don’t know what amount of money is paid for Ray Fusion, but the text clearly shows that we can expect more acquisitions by C2M.
For those that don’t know Ray Fusion (understandable), this used to be Telcogames Israel. Ray Fusion was created some time before Telcogames went bust.

Volker has removed the reference to the Rayfusion acquisition, but we also have the Linkedin profile from Eric Hobson. Ah well, Rayfusion staff also admitted as well to its a sure thing. We will not let write on the future plans for the company though.
