June 2nd, 2008 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Other news | No Comments »

LightningtoadsYou might not have heard of them on the blog yet, but the Lightning Toads sent us an interesting press release stating that Concrete Software licensed their Toadlet engine for their PBA Bowling game.

Multiple components of the Toadlet engine were used including: The lightweight yet advanced Hop physics, to provide one of the best bowling simulations available on mobile phones; the Peeper renderer for smooth, crisp 3D graphics; and Flick motion sensing technology, which allows you to simulate bowling with the cellphone camera!

Toadlet provides these features and more across many different smartphone platforms such as Windows Mobile, iPhone, Google’s upcoming Android, and now Blackberry devices. High-end Java phones are also supported.
