Digital creative agency Chunk Digital has announced the launch of Chunk Games, a new mobile unit within the marketing agency that is aiming purely at the development of multi-platform games.
The company has been developing games for several brands already and hopes the dedicated games division will help them to expand that part of the business with both branded and non-branded titles. Next to phones, the company has plans to release products for consoles and handhelds.
Donnie Kerrigan, Managing Director of Chunk Group, says, ““The whole notion of video games has changed over the last few years. Everyone is playing games now – and they’re playing them everywhere, on every possible device. That’s a massive worldwide audience and an amazing opportunity for developers, agencies and brands.
