90% of Dutch Apps Paid Through operator Billing

On an average day, Dutch consumers download 40.000 apps from Nokia’s Ovi Store. 90% of the paid apps are charged over the phone bill of the consumer proofing the importance of easy billing in this territory.

Android 2.2 Dominates

Google’s most recent numbers show Android 2.2 is dominating the Android Market. 51.8% of the Android Market users use devices with this Android version. Android 2.1 is second most popular with 35.2% of users on it.

EA Values Mobile Gaming at $3.4 Billion in 2010

EA has done some calculating and estimates that the Mobile Gaming market is worth $3.4 billion in 2010. For 2013, they expect the amount to grow all the way to $ 4.5 billion.

Flurry: Thanksgiving Results in 25% App Download Spike
