Ballmer “We screwed up with Windows Mobile”

Microsoft's Steve Ballmer has acknowledged that Microsoft has failed with their strategy on Winodws Mobile. Toward investors he admitted that Windows Phone (Mobile 7) should have been out there already.

Project Pink Uncovered

Graphics Booster for HTC Phones Revealed

Dutch developer ChainFire has released version 1.2 of it's GfxBoost tool for HTC smartphones. Though the app does cash in on CPU resources, it manages to boost the quality of 2D graphics.

It seems the branding Windows Mobile to Windows Phone has already been started by Microsoft as the Redwood giant has started a claim for WindowsPhone.nl, a domain owned by a hobbyist.

MS Publishes iPhone Porting Study
