Changewave: iPhone Most Popular OS in the US

Changewave has sent out a survey to over 4.000 consumers to ask them which phone they own and which smartphone platform they like to own next. Though Android support is growing fast, iPhone is still first.

iPad Outsells WebOS

Apple has all reasons to celebrate the launch of the iPad. While being on sale only a few days, the device already sold more units then Palm sold WebOS based smartphones in the last quarter.

Palm and EA to Provide Free Games to UK Consumers

IDC: Android to be 2nd Mobile OS by 2013

IDC expects Android to be the second biggest smartphone operating system by 2013. By that time, there will be over 390 Million devices in the market that have Google’s OS installed.

Palm to bring Paid Apps to Europe

Palm has announced that European developers can start spreading paid apps on the App Catalog from March 2010 onward. The company saw 600 paid apps launch in the past two months.

adMob Launches on WebOS

adMob has been very successful on platforms like the iPhone, but Palm’s WebOS was still uncovered by the company. To support developers, the company released an open source SDK for ad invocation.
