Symbian UIQ Files for Bankruptcy

We already reported that all companies that once used Symbian's UIQ platform, have abandoned the Symbian UIQ company. Since Nokia announced that it will integrate UIQ's best parts into S60, it was obvious that the company behind UIQ was set to die.

Symbian Research and Pragmaticomm have released V1.9 of Ruby for Symbian based smartphones. With the release of Ruby, a new group of developers are expected to start developing mobile games and applications for the Symbian platforms.
