Chillingo Sells 500K Angry Birds on App Store

Chillingo is celebrating again. This time, their game Angry Birds has passed 500.000 sales in a month time. The game is offered on Apple’s App Store under their ClickGamer label.

Apple Bans Wi-Fi Scanning Apps

After successfully removing a large part of their adult games and apps, Apple is now setting its sights on Wi-Fi scanning apps and games. Last night, many where booted off the App Store.

iSimulate is the iPad Developer’s Best Pall

Apps vs. Games Study

According to a study from mPlayit, Android owners seem to be more interested in downloading applications then mobile games. Only 17% of the Android consumers are looking for games.

iPad Not Coming to the BeNeLux Yet

Apple in the Netherlands informed the press that the iPad will not be launched in the BeNeLux area for now. In fact, operators might come first with the Wi-Fi 3G models of the iPad.
