GDC: GameSpy Expands Mobile Strategy

Gamespy Since March 2009, GameSpy has been offering multiplayer services on the iPhone. Though GameSpy is huge on PC and Console platforms, it didn’t enjoy the same popularity platforms like Crystal and Plus+ did.

Doodle Jump Hits 3 Million Sales

Lima-sky Lima Sky has reached a huge milestone with their Doodle Jump game. The game attracted 3 Million sales to date. Looking at the $0.99 price tag, that is $2,970,000.00 in revenues.

GDC: Epic Shows Unreal Engine 3 on iPhone

Epic Epic Games’ Josh Adams has shown the GDC public a demonstration of their Unreal Engine 3 on an iPhone 3GS. Though the engine is running perfectly, a mobile Gears of War game will not happen soon.
