iOS 4.0.2 Rolls Out

Apple has just released iOS 4.0.2 for iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4, iPad and iPod Touch third generation. Apple had promised to come with a firmware fix for the PDF exploit that hit the news last week.

EU & FTC Start Investigation on Apple’s Development Policy’s

In June, the FTC declared to start investigating Apple’s stance on disallowing development with third party tools. Now, the EU decided to team up with the Federal Trade Commission.

Apple Taps Tap tap on Volume Control

Tap Tap’s Camera+ is a popular photography app on the App Store. In the latest update, Tap Tap included functionality to use the volume buttons to take a picture (which would come in handy).

iAd Supports App Downloads

From now on, iAd’s can be used to trigger downloads from the App Store without intervention from iTunes. With this move, Apple increases the distance to other advertisers on the iOS platform.

Apple Introduces Volume Purchasing

Swisscom Can Supply Only 10% of iPhone 4 Demand

The iPhone 4 is and remains hot. So hot that operator Swisscom is unable to satisfy it’s customers. The operator only receives enough iPhone 4’s to supply 10% of its clients.
