Apple Starts Clearing Unused Names

Scoreloop And PayPal Hook Up

On April 23rd, PayPal already announced that it wanted to get into in-app billing for Android and iPhone. Now, the company hooked up with Scoreloop for easy access to mobile game developers.

Apple Relaxes Rules of Development

Probably to avoid any Legal problems, Apple has started to relax their review guidelines. As a result, developers are now allowed to use any tool for developing iOS apps (inc. Flash CS 5) as long as the games don’t download code.

22moo has announced that the company is redesigning their GameBone Gamepad add-on for the iPhone, iPod and iPad. The new design will hold the Apple Authentication chip to ensure compatibility.

Asymco: iPod Touch Represents 37.7% of iOS devices

Market researcher Asymco has calculated that at least one out of three iOS devices is not connected over 3G. Asymco calculated this based on Apple’s own statistics.
