SkyHook Brings LBS to Bada

Samsung has signed a deal with LBS service provider SkyHook. SkyHook will provide developers on the Bada OS with specific data on where the user is located based on various inputs.

Samsung Promotes Bada’s Service API’s

MWC: Astraware Big Winner Samung/Handmark Fund

Bada Last night, Samsung and Handmark announced the games that will receive funding for their presence on Samsung’s Baba fund. The biggest winner was Astraware, a studio that split from Handmark only recently.

MWC: Samsung to End Dumbphones!?

Bada It seems the end is over for the dumbphone if we have to believe Samsung. Though the manufacturer still creates a large amount of feature phones, it is expected that Bada will be their new OS.

Bada Developer Portal Launches

Bada Samsung has unveiled their new Bada developer portal. It will allow all developers to sign up and submit their applications for the platform. At the same time, they can also enter the Developer Challenge that is still running.
