Telcogames has appointed Tony Fitzgerald as vice president of sales and distribution

Mobile games distributor and publisher Telcogames has appointed Tony Fitzgerald, an experienced games industry executive, to head it’s sales force, as vice president of sales and distribution.

Mr Fitzgerald will be responsible for all sales and distribution issues for the whole Telcogames group. He will be managing the individual sales teams within each territory and will be taking charge of all top tier network operator partners on a global basis. More …

Kayak Interactive Announces new CEO: Keith McCurdy

Kayak Interactive, the company making multiplayer gaming a reality in the mobile entertainment industry, announces that Keith McCurdy, former Electronic Arts Vice President for Online and Product Development, has joined the company as CEO.

Bradshaw aims for bullseye with phone games

Digital Bridges founder and all-round technology guru Kevin Bradshaw hopes his new company can persuade us to take on friends at darts or pool on our mobiles.

Technology guru Kevin Bradshaw has kept a low profile over the past year. He has been more likely to be found in Princeton, New Jersey, than his home town of Burntisland, Fife. And while his name has been linked to several new companies in Scotland, the 34-year-old has lurked behind the scenes as an “investor” or “adviser”.

The founder and former chief executive of Scottish mobile entertainment company Digital Bridges, however, will be making far more appearances on this side of the Atlantic when he helps launch ground-breaking technology for the UK games sector later this year. More …

Gosen quits Nintendo Europe To Join Digital Bridges

David Gosen, Nintendo Europe’s managing director of sales and marketing, leaves the company to join mobile games publisher Digital Bridges as COO.
Gosen, who has been with the company for around five years, most recently served as its managing director of sales and marketing. He oversaw the European launches of the Game Boy Advance, GameCube, and Game Boy Advance SP. More …
