Zeemote Launches Nunchuck for Mobile

Zeemote has released the Zeemote JS1, a wireless controller much like
Nintendo’s Nunchuck device. The bluetooth joystick should enrich the

Nokia Files New Mobile Gaming Device Patent

Nokia still hasn’t fully recovered from the failed N-Gage hardware. As Gizmondo announced their return, and people keep widely speculating about a PSP phone, Nokia filed a new design patent for a mobile gaming device.

Gionee Releases NES phone

The Chinese handset manufacturer Gionee has released a mobile phone that contains everything you need to play your most favourite NES games on the go. No need to say that we will probably never see this device in Europe.

Samsung Patents Clamshell Joystick Design

In a move to improve the mobile gaming experience on the hardware level, we have seem many improvements over the last few years which more or less started with the N-Gage. Now, Samsung takes the good old clamshell and turns it into a joystick according to their latest patent.

Mobile Gaming Gear: “The Sleeve”

Ever since the Nintendo Wii, gaming and exercise seem to be a hot item. The
mobile phone seems not to escape this hype as we got tipped about a
story on Forum Nokia about controlling mobile games using muscle
activity. This might give mobile gaming a whole new experience.

Nokia’s Newest Patent, The Mobile Joystick

Nokia has patented a new joystick design for mobile. To make mobile games better to play, consumers should pull out their stylus from their phones and insert it right into the d-pad. Personally I don’t see it happening, but who knows 🙂
