Warner Bros, T-Mobile enter mobile content deal

US film studio Warner Brothers and mobile operator T-Mobile International have signed a wireless distribution deal that brings Warner Brothers Entertainment brands to T-Mobile customers in Europe.

Initially, Warner Brothers Online is to provide T-Mobile customers with games, wallpaper, screensavers and other mobile applications based on its brands, including Looney Tunes, Scooby-Doo, Harry Potter and DC Comics. More …

Nokia today announced that it has started shipping Asphalt: Urban GT(TM) a high-speed car racing game, in European stores now and in North American and Asian stores by mid-November. To entice the gamers, Nokia and Gameloft also today announced a downloadable demo for the highly anticipated N-Gage title. iFone, the global wireless entertainment developer and publisher, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Bullwinkle Studios, a joint venture between Classic Media and Jay Ward Productions, Inc., to develop wireless content for mobile devices based on the legendary animated series Rocky & Bullwinkle & Friends. The new deal includes the territories of Europe, North America, Central America, South America, China, Australia and New Zealand.

Under the terms of the agreement, iFone will create games, screen savers and ring tones based on many of Bullwinkle Studios’ beloved animation franchises such as Rocky & Bullwinkle, Boris & Natasha, Sherman & Peabody and Dudley Do-Right. More …
