I-Play wins Best Made for Mobile Game

At the 3GSM awards yesterday night, I-play was honored with the best Made for Mobile Game Award 2007. They won the award for The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo. The jury praised the game for its playability and intuitive design. Congratulations I-play! And on to the International Mobile Game Awards that are being held in about three hours from now.

AIAS Award Nominees

The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences has announced the nominees for “the Mobile Game of the Year”. The tenth edition of this awards show will be held in Las Vegas during the D.I.C.E. summit. Nominated are ID’s Orcs and Elves, Hands-On Mobile’s Duckshot and Gameloft with their Brothers in Arms 3D and Tropical Madness.
Vivendi’s Caesar best mobile strategy game

Airgamer has announced Vivendi Mobile’s Caesar to be the best mobile strategy game of 2006. For the election, Airgamer used the voice of 2.600 readers. Caesar is an isometric strategy game. Currently there are not a whole lot of strategy games out there, but with companies like HandyGames and Gear Games working hard, the genre will expand a lot this year. Congratulations with the award Vivendi.

Our congratulations this Monday morning go out to Dynamo Games who have scooped up the TIGA award for mobile. They won with their Championship manager 2006 game which is published by Eidos Mobile. Last years edition also won at the TIGA awards.
German Development Awards

Yesterday, the German development awards where handed out in Essen by G.A.M.E., a society for game developers in Germany. The big winner in mobile was FDG soft’s Bobby Carrot. A bit of an old game, and considering the amount of games from German developers it was even a surprising choice. Nevertheless, congratulations to FDG soft!
Vivendi wins Spike TV Award

Vivendi announced to have won the Spike TV Best Wireless Game Award last Friday with their SWAT Force game. Nominated for the award where Super K.O. Boxing, Diner Dash and Tower Bloxx.
