Mobile games publishers Kayak Interactive and Synergenix Interactive today announced that they are joining forces to create a leader in the mobile entertainment industry. The new company will operate as Kayak Interactive, and Synergenix will become a wholly owned subsidiary.
The new mobile entertainment company is distributing content in North America, Europe and Asia through over forty carriers and numerous alternative channels. FILIPINO PC game developer Anino Entertainment is opening a new company that will focus on mobile phone game development.
The new company, Anino Mobile, was created in response to the increased use of multimedia-enabled phones, Anino said.

The Bellevue company, which distributes content to mobile phones and operates an Internet search and directory business, posted record revenues, profits and cash flow as Chief Executive Jim Voelker continued his revitalization of the once-battered Internet firm.
