BulkyPix Rises from Vivendi’s Ashes

More News on the Arvato Acquisition

It took a bit of time, but we finally got our hands on an official English statement in regards to the acquisition of Arvato Mobile by Dubai based Mondia Ltd. According to Arvato, the first notices and press releases went out on December 24th.

Jamba not Rebranding due to Economic Climate

Last October, New Corp bought the remaining Jamba shares from Verisign. Following the purchase, the company announced that it would re-organize and re-brand it's mobile offering. Now, the company announced that the change of strategy is delayed to to the economic climate.

Mondia Ltd Acquires Arvato Mobile

As of January first, Arvato Mobile has been acquired by Mondia Ltd.(housed in Dubbai). As Arvato Mobile will be split off from the rest of Arvato (part of the Bertelsmann group) we guess the company will be renamed at sometime.

Hands-On Announces Layoffs

Following the sale of it's non-US based divisions, Hands-On has started to fire all personnel that is no longer needed by the company. The number of employees that will be looking for a new job this Christmas is unknown.

EA: Tim Leaves, Expectations Down
