THQ Wireless (not) Shutting Down – FINAL UPDATE!

Over the past years, THQ Wireless had a lot of trouble to hold their position in the market. They have seen big competitors like Eidos and Vivendi enter and leave the market. Now it seems it's THQ who is kicking the bucket.

Gameloft’s Q4 Financial Results

Gameloft is the first this year to show it's fourth quarter financials. The company managed to increase it's year-on-year revenues with 31%. Not bad during times of recession.

Rockpool Closes Down

Next to offloading staff over 2008, due to restructuring, the company has now also chosen to shutdown Rockpool Games. A mobile games studio which was acquired about three years ago.

Gameloft Shares Rise Thanks to WestLB

Gameloft had a good day at the market as analyst WestLB recommended buying the company's shares. WestLB expects that Gameloft will be a winner when the economy recovers.

Dutch mobile games developer Lunagames is spreading it's wings. The company will be focusing more on mobile applications and services. As so, the company decided it's time to re-brand into Lunaforte.
