Connect2Media Rebrands Rayfusion

Though Connect2Media bought Rayfusion back in 2008, the company has started to rebrand the unit only now. The unit will now operate under the name of Connect2Media Middle East.

Financials: Gameloft Q1 2010

Gameloft has posted their quarterly financials for the first quarter of 2010. Revenues went up 7% and even though Gameloft has put a lot of efforts in increasing their revenues from Apple, iPhone OS brought in only 21% of the revenues.

HP Acquires Palm for $1.2 Billion – UPDATED

Big news for Palm today as the device vendor has been acquired by HP. To many, this move came as a surprise as Lenovo seemed to be the last company in the race for the acquisition.

Google Acquires Mobile Game Developer LabPixies

Google has announced the acquisition of LabPixies. The Israeli studio specialized in social network games for iGoogle and Facebook as well as mobile games for Android and iPhone.

Glu Shares Peaking Again

Over the past 52 weeks, Glu’s (GLUU) shares have ranged between $0,55 and $1,84. Though the shares have been between $1 and $1,20 over the past few weeks, shareprices suddenly started to increase on Friday.

SEGA Reorganizes

SEGA has announced that it will reorganize its US and UK offices. As a result of this reorganization, 37 employees of the London office and 36 employees of the San Francisco office will be laid off.

HTC Will not Acquire Palm

According to Reuters, a source within HTC has confirmed that the Korean cellphone vendor will not be acquiring Palm. HTC decided so after checking Palm’s financials.
