Vodafone Reduces Dataroaming Costs

15.000 Developers Signed up for Windows Phone 7

According to data from Microsoft, over 15.000 developers have registered themselves as Windows Phone 7 developers. To date, 3.000 apps have appeared on the Windows Marketplace app store.

2 Million Downloads for Guns’n’Glory

Guns’n’Glory seems to be one of the bigger hits of German developer HandyGames. On the App Store, Ovi and Android Market, the game managed to attract over 2 million downloads since it was launched.

High Demand Causes Delays for HP’s Slate 500

HP has delayed the delivery of the Slate 500 device with six weeks due to high demand. The company expected to sell 5.000 units of their first real tablet computer, yet they received 9.000 pre-orders.

MU: Publishing in the Smartphone Era

According to research from Mintel, only 12% of the consumers in the UK own a smartphone. One of the reasons is that 30% of British consumers are only interested in the cheapest deal and it shows the smartphone market is still a minor one.

First Glu Social Mobile Games hit 1 Million Downloads
