Exent to Launch Android Based Games on Demand Service

Exent has announced it will be launching ‘Play Anywhere’ for Android devices. The service allows gamers to rent their games similar to the commercial model is i-mode games in the 90’s.

Microsoft Questions ‘App Store’ Trademark

Apple Launches Mac App Store, Hackers Ruin It

Last Friday, Apple launched the new App Store for Mac. What the company didn’t expect though was that the store was hacked only hours after opening resulting in many users freely downloading the apps from their store.

Rovio Launches Angry Birds Free on App Store

Rovio has launched a new free version of Angry Birds on Apple’s App Store. The title competes directly with the Angry Birds and Angry Birds Lite versions licensed to EA owned publisher Chillingo.

Panasonic Opens App Market for Viera TV’s

Microsoft Developing ARM Branch of Windows 7?

If rumors are right, Microsoft is nearly ready with a special version of Windows 7 that is able to run on ARM-based processors. This would improve Windows 7’s scalability toward tablet based devices.

Namco Banda Moves Development Back to Japan
