Player X and Sky are bringing a new mobile game based on UK TV personality Carol Vorderman. For the TV personality, Player X has developed a brain training game that will carry the title "Carol Vorderman’s Mind Aerobics".
Carol Vorderman’s Mind Aerobics is a game full of mental challenges and exercises which should improve the player’s BFI (Brain Fitness Index) level with 10 minute programs. To get the player even more involved, the game will be packed with community features like leaderboards, buddy lists and tournaments.
The game, which is primarily focussed at the UK market, will receive a six figure marketing budget from Player X and Sky which results into print, TV and Radio advertising. To further support the marketing, Player X has also released a dedicated wap site.
Tony Pearce, CEO of Player X, said: “Casual mobile games that both entertain and educate are loved by mobile gamers and Mind Aerobics is a perfect example of the genre. The launch on mobile backed up by huge marketing spend will create a loyal community of gamers.”
Andy Nuttall, Head of PC Games at Sky, said: “With versions for PC, mobile and Sky television, Carol Vorderman’s Mind Aerobics offers a way for everyone, no matter where they are, to keep their mind healthy, stimulated and active.”
