Dropbox competitor Box.net has launched a massive promo on their Android client. Consumers who register for a box.net account through the Android app, will receive a free 50GB account.
Normal new signups receive a free account with 5GB of personal storage with the 50GB plan costing $19.99 a month. The only big miss compared to dropbox, is the free Windows Sync client. It is not the first time Box.net markets itself toward the Android demographic. The company did similar promo’s to clients of Sony Ericsson and LG.
Congratulations
