BlackBerry App World, the RIM App Store

March 5th, 2009 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: BlackBerry | No Comments »

Rim
A big day for fans of the BlackBerry platform as RIM has informed the public about the new name of it's App Store initiative will be BlackBerry App World. At the same time, RIM also revealed some more details about it.

RIM also revealed it's pricing guidelines. The cheapest apps will be priced at $ 2.99. A big step up from Apple's $ 0.99 price point. Then again, consumers can't really go to the competitor Apple…
