Big Fish Games has announced that Laurent de Segur has now been promoted from Vice President of Technology to CEO of the casual games company.
de Segur brings more than 20 years of experience in the game and software industries to Big Fish Games, creating products ranging from single-user programs to distributed enterprise-class systems. de Segur got his start in the game industry at Electronic Arts as the director of media lab and dedicated two years in Japan to building a joint venture between EA and JVC. Prior to joining Big Fish Games in 2007, de Segur held senior engineering positions at Apple, Amazon.com and Expedia.
