He had great ambitions for Namco’s mobile department in Europe, but after Namco outsourced the mobile business for Europe to EA, Barry O’Neill has now left to pursuit his dreams with his own venture.
Barry has worked as Namco’s EU president for well over two years. He was responsible for wireless in the EMEA, SANZAR and LATAM markets and was well known for his plans to expand the business.
Barry will now be running Other Ventures, a company he founded himself. Other Ventures will be advising start ups who want to enter the gaming market. The first company to launch with his help should surface mid 2010.
