Chinese search giant has finally announced its own mobile operating system. To be specific, the company is launching their own version of Google’s Android OS, called Baidu Yi.
The OS is based on Baidu’s cloud services. Search is so dominant, the search field should be on the screen only a few seconds after starting the phone, while the rest of the OS is still booting up.
Baidu will provide every Baidu Yi user with 180GB cloud storage and a wide number of apps to read eBooks and do other stuff. In regards to the app strategy, little is known for now.
