The Baby Shaker was probably one of the most controversial apps that launched in the past weeks. Following numerous complaints from human rights organizations, Apple has now removed the app from the App Store.
The mobile game (or app) is simulating a crying baby that you need to quiet down through by shaking it. Every year, there are many babies that die due to heavy shakes (also known as Shaken Baby Syndrome) and human rights organizations are afraid that the app might leave the wrong impression on what parenthood is all about.
Though Apple removed the app, Apple did not want to comment on why it was approved. Sure it is according to the guidelines, but they say nothing about guidelines.
Congratulations
