IDC: Samsung Beats Nokia in Europe

Samsung is the new market leader in Europe. They have beaten the Finnish with a mere 1% in market share. Samsung sold 29% of all mobile phones in Q1. Nokia did ‘just’ 28% in the same quarter.

Bing on BlackBerry

Sagem/Mobiwire Files for Bankruptcy

Ahhhh, good old Sagem Wireless. They made the cheapes phones for any operator that would sell them and they were a bliss. Though underpowered, compatibility was great making porting just a bit more fun.

BlackBerry 7; The Details

Yesterday, RIM unveiled the BlackBerry 7 OS. That OS would have been the first smartphone OS from RIM to work on the QNX platform it bought earlyer and implemented in the BlackBerry Playbook.

Samsung to Deploy Carrier Billing on Samsung Apps
