In the light of FaceTime, OpenFeint has introduced their new PlayTime technology last week. With PlayTime, it is possible to fight real time and turn based multiplayer battles between iPhone and Android.
PlayTime also allows creation of virtual players. When the connection to the other player is lost, the AI will take over to finish the game. Players can also voice chat during play. For iOS, PlayTime is build on top of Apple’s own Game Center API’s.
