In order to stimulate the uptake of their Xbox Live like environment called OpenFeint (1.5), Aurora Feint is adding new One Touch iPromote functionality to their system.
One Touch iPromote works much like a chatroom. Players can switch lobbies, which are actually based on mobile game genres. They can see who’s playing, a certain game, discuss it and if they like it enough, buy the game directly from the App Store.
The current 1.0 version of OpenFeint has been supported by 21 mobile games. The company hopes to become the standard connectivity platform for the iPhone.
