Atari has set up a new development competition toward independent developers. The objective? Create the next Pong on iOS. The winner gets $100.000 and a contract at Atari.
Atari launches the competition as it celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Pong game. Next to getting a job and a fat bonus, Atari will be launching the winning Pong game as the official new Pong game on the App Store.
Developers can enter until March 31st. Atari will request a design document for the pre-selection. The finalists will have to build a demo of the Pong they have in mind.
