Asus is likely the first vendor to start producing tablets based on the Android 5.0 platform. With the Transformer Prime, Asus was one of the first to launch a tablet based on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
This news comes from Asus VP Denson Lin who also said the next version of Android will be named Jelly Beam. The VP said Asus is well connected with Google which will probably mean the company is the first to roll out 5.0 products.
Via.
Congratulations
