Artificial Life’s Formula 1 Business

August 7th, 2009 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Brand Licensing | 1 Comment »

Artificial-life Artificial Life has just closed a new two-year exclusive licensing deal with Red Bull Racing (Red Bull's Formula 1 racing team) and is finishing off their BMW Sauber Formula 1 game.

Consumers will be able to race as both Mark Webber or Sebastian Vettel. The game is expected to be released by the end of the year.

“We are excited to work on yet another exciting Red Bull-sponsored racing title following the successful Red Bull Air Race World Championship game we released earlier in the year. Racing has been one of the most popular genres in video game history. We are dedicated to making this latest Red Bull title a challenging and fun gaming experience,” said Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO of Artificial Life, Inc.

At the same time, Artificial Life is also finishing off their 'other' Formula 1 game for BMW Sauber. It is expected to launch before the end of the month and the company will be launching a few very big contests around the title.
