Artificial Life Releases Germany’s Next Topmodel

March 3rd, 2008 by Arjan Olsder Posted in New Releases | No Comments »

ArtificiallifeIt seems the European business is really progressing for Artificial Life as they just released Germany’s Next Topmodel, a strongly localized game based on the TV show.

In this mobile game, players will take on the role of one of the models from the "Germany’s Next Topmodel" show and compete in different modeling challenges against other models from the show while exploring the fashion world on a quest to become "Germany’s Next Topmodel." The release of the mobile game is scheduled in March to coincide with the new season of this hit reality TV show that will air in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The first episode of the third season of "Germany’s Next Topmodel" aired February 28, 2008, on the ProSieben network, which is German television’s leading brand for the young media generation. ProSieben, along with SevenOne Intermedia, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the media conglomerate ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG (Hamburg:PSM).

This partnership is forged following the success of the "POPSTARS on Stage" mobile game collection, based upon another popular TV series which aired last year.

Christian Rymarenko, Head of ProSieben Multimedia with SevenOne Intermedia, said, "We are very excited to be able to offer the viewers of ‘Germany’s Next Topmodel’ a high-quality mobile game. With the game, we are able to extend the successful program to our mobile division whilst reducing the time our users and fans have to wait for the next episode of ‘Germany’s Next Topmodel.’"

"We are very excited to extend our partnership further with SevenOne Intermedia, who have been very supportive and have successfully built up a huge following for the show. On one hand, we continue to leverage the media power of the SevenOne Intermedia group to attract consumers’ attention, while on the other hand, we focus on delivering the best quality games to customers. This has been a wonderful combination of both companies’ strengths, and we hope to continue this successful formula for this upcoming project," said Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO of Artificial Life, Inc.
