Artificial Life has just announced yet another new brand they have licensed. This time, soccer star Leonel Andres Messi was the target for the four year licensing deal.
Leo Messi has an outstanding track record in football as he was Argentinian player of the year in 2005, world soccer young player of the year in 2006, best foreign player in the Spanish liga in 2007 and received the copa America best young player 2007. Maradona himself has announced Messi as his successor. Artificial Life announced to be developing one or two games each year based on the soccer star.
"Leo is one of the top soccer players in the world. Despite his young age he has already shown tremendous performances for the Argentine national team as well as for his club FC Barcelona. He will be one of the key players in the upcoming Olympic Games soccer competition in Beijing next year and we expect him to be one of the super stars of the 2010 Soccer World Cup. We are looking forward to working with Leo over the next years to produce some exciting mobile games" said Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO of Artificial Life, Inc.
