iTunes Connect is closed down over Christmas and so, gamers will be missing out the last two free iPhone games that they anticipated on through AppVentCalendar.com. Still the site was a huge success.
The site processed many hundreds of thousands of consumers that came on a near daily basis to grab their free games. The site was even so popular under developers that they site started to feature additional free games in a side column.
Most participating developers noticed that sales increased after taking part. Meanwhile, BlackSmith Games (owner of the site) is the true winner as they used the site to push their new game called Pluched and build up some sort of fanbase over Twitter. The game was released during the month and now, while consumers check the site for the 23rd game, they are even offered to take part in a character design contest where they can win US giftcards.
Congratulations to Blacksmith Games for running one of the leanest promotions of the year.
