We ran a lot of stories on the AppVent Calendar website last month. On the website, consumers could pick up free games on a daily basis during the advent period.
The website proved to be a great PR tool for BlackSmith Games who used it to push their ‘Plushed’ game into the market. Developers that provided free games benefitted from increased sales in the days following the promotion.
In April 2010, the company announced that AppVent Calendar will return with special holiday offers. More details were not disclosed yet.
