It seems content publishers world wide are seriously pissed at Apple for demanding all content subscription services to run over Apple’s billing servers so the company can take 30% of the revenues.
Because Apple lacked support for content subscriptions, many publishers were already running a succesfull business outside the app store. With the new developer policy, those content publishers are now obligated to move their revenue streams through Cupertino losing 30% of their income and a huge amount of control. After removing all apps with beautiful girls, this is another slap in the face to many companies.
