Last night, Apple updated the developer portal. Though many expected a possibility to upload iPad apps, the company had actually changed a big part of their Mac development program.
Apple has stopped with the ADC Premier and Select programs and replaced it with a single program priced at $ 99. Previously, the programs started at $ 499. Discount on Mac products and WWDC tickets aren’t included anymore.
This step could mean Apple wants to bring both development worlds together in the long run.
