Apple Starts an App Store Sweep

August 4th, 2009 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: iOS | 1 Comment »

Apple Apple has pulled well over 900 apps from the App Store, all belonging to one and the same developer. The have been pulled due to quality and licensing issues.

The developer, Khalid Shaikh, had published hundreds of apps filled with content that was probably not licensed. The apps sold for a medium price range ($4.99) and led to consumer complaints about the low quality.

Rumours say this isn't the last developer that will see his or her content removed.
