Security companies world-wide criticize Apple as the company is leaving their complete collection of iOS devices open to a PDF exploit only jailbreakers are able to protect themselves from.
This vulnerability came to light when the website jailbreamme.com offered a very simple method to jailbreak iOS based devices through that very same exploit. Users of a jailbreaked iPhone can install PDF Loader Warner from developer Will Strafach on Cydia to at least get a warning before opening a PDF document.
Meanwhile, all the nice users who don’t jailbreak have to wait for Apple to send out a firmware update for both the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch devices and meanwhile hope their devices will not be enslaved by some hacker.
Congratulations
