Gaming is an important element in the sales strategy for iOS devices, so important that Apple has decided to hire two marketing vets from Nintendo and Activision in the UK.
After seven years of service, Rob Saunders will be leaving Nintendo UK where he was responsible for the introduction of the Wii, DS and 3DS systems. Nick Grange did a similar thing for Activision. Both gentlemen will be moving over to Cupertino to further develop iOS products.
